Electrica Furnizare improves services, but brings temporary limitations: which functionalities will be affected in January 2024
In an effort to optimise IT systems, Electrica Furnizare announces temporary limitations in the use of some functionalities, but assures customers that the supply of electricity and natural gas will not be affected. Contact details, payments and impact on bills
From 1 to 31 January 2024, Electrica Furnizare announces a series of optimizations to its IT systems, with the aim of improving the services offered to its customers. These changes, aimed at optimising the user experience, will temporarily involve limitations in accessing certain functionalities.
Supply of electricity and natural gas without interruptions
While the process of supplying electricity and natural gas will not be affected, users will notice some restrictions in accessing certain functionalities during the period.

In order to maintain the line of communication with customers, Electrica Furnizare provides the following contact methods:
Call-center: on 0244 406 006, from Monday to Friday, between 08:00-20:00.
E-mail: address mentioned in the energy bill.
Payment Methods Available during the Optimisation Period
For payments, customers will be able to use the following options:
Internet banking
Direct debit
Orange Money apps, mobilePay Wallet, 24Pay, Pago
StartPay payment machines
OVM/Petrom stations
Westaco Express service
One-two Mobile Distribution payment centres
PayPoint payment points
Counters, ATMs or partner bank ATMs
Features Temporarily Unavailable
During enhancements, customers will experience restrictions in the use of the following applications and features:
MyElectrica - app and portal
TelVerde (self-cited index communication)
Online single contact form
E-chat
Customer Service Point (Info Kiosk/POS)
Call-center interactive menu services (activate call option when issuing notice, Index notification interval information or scheduled meter reading period)
Impact on Bills
Due to these temporary limitations, electricity and/or natural gas bills will be issued and arrive to customers on a later date than usual, in the second part of February. The payment due date will refer to the time the bill is issued.
