On April 13, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated Ukrainians on the Day of Workers of the Defense Industry of Ukraine

He emphasized that this is a professional day for everyone who organizes, designs, and builds Ukrainian strength.

"There are currently 500 defense industry enterprises in Ukraine. Almost 300 thousand people are involved in this production. And all this is really one of the main foundations of our independence. The events of the war prove it", the president said.

Zelenskyy said that with the help of marine drones created by Ukrainians, our defenders are clearing the Black Sea of russian terrorist influence.

"Thanks to Ukrainian developments, putin's system feels that aggression really has a price", he emphasized.

Ukrainian Stugny, Ukrainian armor, Ukrainian FPV drones are no longer something unusual, Zelenskyy said.

"I am proud of all our people and enterprises that make modern Ukrainian artillery commonplace as well - we need modern calibers, we need guns. I thank everyone who is working for this!" - summarized the president.
