Also, to add to the batch, Ukraine had previously received 30 ambulances from Korea and six from a Finnish charity organization
The Ministry of Health of Ukraine reports that Ukraine received 70 ambulances from the South Korean government on Friday, April 5. These vehicles are equipped with the necessary equipment to assist patients who need special life-sustaining measures during transportation.
"The ongoing full-scale war has significantly increased the need for vehicles to quickly evacuate casualties. At the same time, our medical infrastructure is constantly under fire and attack from the russian army. Now more than 500 emergency vehicles have been destroyed, damaged or captured by the enemy," Ukrainian Health Minister Viktor Liashko said.
He thanked the South Korean government and the country's ambassador, Kim Hyong Toh for supporting the medical system and providing assistance.
"Ambulances will help our heroic medics to continue saving lives under any conditions".
