According to Espresso, the Ukrainian eSports team Natus Vincere (NaVi) defeated the FaZe Clan team from the United States in the final match of the PGL Major Copenhagen Counter-Strike 2 tournament, winning the title of the first world champions in this version of the game. NaVi won two out of three maps with a score of 2:1 (Ancient - 13:9, Mirage - 2:13, Inferno - 13:3).
According to Sportarena, this triumph was NaVi's second victory at the majors, repeating their success in 2021 in Stockholm. The team has reached the finals of the majors six times. NaVi consisted of two Ukrainians, a Lithuanian, a Romanian, and a Finn: Valeriy "b1t" Vakhovsky, Justinas "jL" Lekavicius, Alexi "Aleksib" Virolainen, Mihai "iM" Ivan, Igor "w0nderful" Zhdanov, and Andrey "B1ad3" Gorodensky as coaches.
