According to the investigation, in her spare time, the woman helped the russians to hit the points of the Defense Forces in Kharkiv. To direct enemy fire, she received geolocations of potential targets from the occupiers, and then conducted additional reconnaissance there.
While near the facility, the suspect covertly observed it to establish the approximate number of personnel and military equipment there. Then she sent the information received via messenger to her russian curator in the form of text messages with the coordinates on Google Maps.
Based on this "report", the occupiers were preparing air attacks on the city using missiles and "shaheds".
The Security Service of Ukraine detained the offender in her own home.
It is noted that the woman was remotely recruited by Russian intelligence in the fall of 2023. She came to the attention of the occupiers through her acquaintance from Kupiansk, who fled to russia during the capture of the district center and joined the enemy troops.
During searches in the detainee's home, a mobile phone was seized, which she used to communicate with the aggressor.
SBU investigators served the woman a notice of suspicion of high treason committed under martial law. She faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
Note: According to Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of a crime and cannot be criminally punished until his or her guilt is proved by law and established by a court verdict.
