Thousands of people protest in Budapest to demand Orban's resignation
On Tuesday, March 26, thousands of people protested in front of the Parliament in Budapest. They demand the resignation of the chief prosecutor and Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

It is noted that people came out to protest after a former government official accused a senior aide to Orban of trying to interfere in a bribery case.
Protesters marched from the Prosecutor General's Office to the parliament chanting "Resign, resign, resign," many carrying torches. He released an audio recording in which his ex-wife admitted to a conspiracy to cover up corruption in the government. In the recording, she described in detail the attempt of Orban's cabinet aides to delete certain parts of the documents in the bribery case.
