As part of our series of interviews with friends of Daily Hub News, we spoke with cityfarmer Kateryna Grabanova, about sources of inspiration, the perfect day off, and how sometimes simple human joys can be a manifestation of self-love.

Self-love is...

Being in harmony with yourself. Being able to take care of your physical and emotional health. Listen to your body. Accept yourself for who you are, know your flaws and strengths. Reward yourself for achieving your goals. Do not stop at what you have achieved, strive for personal growth and well-being. Catch the moments of life and enjoy them.

What inspires you?

People's success stories give me more determination and confidence that everything can work out, you just need to take the first steps, put in your best effort and keep going. Meeting new people, their kindness and feedback. I am also motivated by my husband and son.

An ideal day off is...

Wake up without an alarm clock, so that a light breakfast is already waiting for me on the table. After a snack, go for a walk with my family in the park, enjoying the views of the mountains or the lake and planning things. And in the evening all together to cook vegetables and meat on an open fire, spend the sunset by the fire, swinging in a hammock.

What are your favorite ways to relax and reboot?

During long walks, many thoughts, ideas, and questions appear in your head. The lack of comfort allows you to appreciate everyday things at home, such as warm water from the tap and a soft bed. After returning home, you can become a completely different person or look at things and solve problems differently.
