A visitor to the London Mall shopping center in St. Petersburg reported a mine threat and was detained. People were evacuated from the mall

It is noted that CCTV cameras recorded that the man visited the mall, left it and reported about the mining by phone. He was detained, but the man did not say where exactly the "explosive" was located.
Another news outlet, writes that the man was detained and taken to the parking lot, "where security forces are talking to him".
"There are police cars and Rosgvardia at the entrance," eyewitnesses said.
Also, the resource notes that the mall's parking lot is blocked, cars are not allowed to leave without inspection.
"Far East Avenue, adjacent to London Mall, is blocked. Rescuers are connecting fire hoses to hydrants," the statement said.

During the interrogation, the man "attracted the attention" of security forces by telling details about the allegedly planted explosives, ASTRA reports. He said that its weight was 10 kg.
According to preliminary information, the detainee is not a citizen of the russian federation.
Later, it became known that firefighters had prepared equipment to extinguish the fire.
Security forces are using helmets, some of them are searched. Kollontay Street is also blocked.
"There was some kind of fuss... They were shouting hysterically! "Help! Help!" on the first floor. Neither the alarm system nor anything worked. Everyone ran away. They said they didn't know when it would end... I saw how they twisted the guy in black. At first they put him face down, then they were moving him back and forth," says the mall visitor.
