Healthcare in Kherson region: 80% of institutions destroyed or damaged
Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, said that 80% of health care facilities in the region were destroyed or damaged as a result of the war.

He told how they are trying to establish access to medical services for the population. According to him, modular emergency medical centers are operating in Kostyrka and Novoraysk in Beryslav region. They are a temporary replacement for the damaged hospitals.
"The station is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay of paramedics and reception of patients. Mobile teams of volunteer doctors work here. One of the medical stations was established by WHO in partnership with the Ministry of Health, the second - thanks to the international organization Save the Children," Prokudin wrote.
The head of the Kherson region also noted that such a station should be launched in another settlement of the Novoraysk community.
- On January 24, it became known that russian occupants deliberately shelled medical facilities in the Kherson region, most hospitals were destroyed. There is not a single surviving medical institution in the regional center.
