"We discussed Ukraine's need to strengthen its air defense. We also focused on bilateral and EU-level cooperation. We agreed to accelerate work on the preparation of a bilateral security agreement between Ukraine and Spain," the Ukrainian leader wrote.

According to him, during the conversation, the leaders also discussed the upcoming first global peace summit in Switzerland.

Zelenskyy thanked Spain for its unwavering support of Ukraine and Ukrainians, "which gives a common and firm belief that life will prevail in Ukraine and throughout Europe."
