SIBUR International GmbH, headed by 40-year-old russian Marina Plotnikova, is registered in Austria. The office is located in Vienna, a few minutes' drive from the parliament. It mainly buys raw materials for the production of synthetic rubber, polyethylene, solvents, and propane-butane from the russian federation. Sibur Holding PJSC and other russian subsidiaries are engaged in the supply: "NHTK, Nizhnekamskneftekhim, Kazanorgsintez, Voronezhsintezkauchuk and other companies.
It is known that Sibur itself and some of its shareholders, Leonid Michelson, Alexander Dyukov and Mikhail Shelomov, were not subject to sanctions. At the same time, the holding supplies products to the Kamianske Combine and the Perm Powder Plant. These facilities produce solid rocket fuel, charges, rocket engines, and cruise missile launch systems.
The company is associated with people close to dictator vladimir putin. Gennadiy Timchenko, who is called putin's friend, owns 17% of the company's shares, and billionaire Leonid Michelson owns 30.6%. Another friend of the russian terrorist leader, Yuri Kovalchuk, as well as putin's former son-in-law and nephew, Kirill Shamalov and Mikhail Shelomov, respectively, also own shares.
