putin is at the pinnacle of his power, which nothing limits

About that writes espreso.tv

But the weaker the leader, the more brutally he has to behave with his opponents.

There are no elections in the russian federation. It is not an electoral democracy for a long time. There is no value in voting unless it is backed by rights, freedoms, debate and the ability to change the government. This man will rule for 40 years, or even longer, until his regime ends with his personal demise. But he will be succeeded by neither a worse nor a better man, but one who will be ready to implement the scenario of monopoly and usurpation of power with the tacit consent of the society that now lives with war.

What to do?
  • Western leaders who share the norms of the Copenhagen Standards cannot congratulate putin on his victory in the so-called "elections".
  • russia is not an electoral democracy, and its leader should be recognized as a dictator. Such people are very vulnerable to symbolic steps because for their self-assertion it is necessary to get absolute support of the majority of citizens in the protocol of vote counting.
  • The level of diplomatic relations was already low, and after this pseudo-vote, there is no reason to reconsider this approach.
  • Nobody recognizes the process in the occupied territories of Ukraine, but the time has come to boldly say that there were no real elections anywhere.
