Poland and Germany will create an armored coalition aimed at supporting Ukraine

At a joint press conference with German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, Kosiniak-Kamysz said the two countries are taking responsibility for a rapid reaction force in Europe.
It is known that Poland and Germany will activate an armored coalition in Warsaw on March 26 to support Ukraine.
"From July, our battle groups, 2,500 Polish soldiers and 2,500 German soldiers, will be on standby for rapid response. These are forces that perform strategic compass tasks," Poland's defense chief said.
"More partners have already signed up. This is one of the most important coalitions," Kosiniak-Kamysz added.
It is known that Britain, Sweden and Italy have already joined the "armored coalition."
Pistorius emphasized that this coalition is long-term.
The two ministers said the defense ministers of the Weimar Triangle countries will meet in Wroclaw in May.
"We are rebuilding the Weimar Triangle in the political sphere, in the defense sphere, and also in the relations between our headquarters. We are preparing for even more intensive joint exercises," Kosiniak-Kamysh said.
