Head of Ukrainian intelligence names number of prisoners to be mobilized to occupation forces

The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, said that vladimir putin will receive about 75% of the vote in russia during the upcoming presidential election, and also reported the number of people who are mobilized into the ranks of the occupation army every month.

Budanov told this in an interview  with the French edition of Liberation.

"The result is already known: about 75% of the votes will go to putin", - Budanov said.

He clarified that in this way the kremlin wants to legitimize its regime in the occupied Ukrainian territories and show general "support" among the local population.

"This is not an election. These are 'putin's elections', and their outcome is known in advance", - the Defense Intelligence chief said.

Budanov also emphasized that in 2023, at least 30,000 people were mobilized into the russian army every month.

"At the end of November, 300,000 prisoners were selected to join the russian army", - he said.

Recall that the presidential elections in russia are scheduled for March 17, 2024. Thanks to the so-called "constitutional reform" of 2020, vladimir putin "reset" his terms and has the opportunity to run for and be elected president of the aggressor country again.
