The KSE Institute and the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine have published a practical guide describing financing programs for Ukrainian banks in cooperation with international financial organizations under the Ukraine Facility (the European Union's financial support program for Ukraine). Oschadbank also contributed to the publication.

The manual was presented earlier this week during the event “Ukraine Investment Framework: How to attract financing for business” within the framework of the project ”Economic Hub: Strengthening Macroeconomic Stability through Effective Public Finance Management” project funded by UK International Development from the UK Government.

"This guide is a roadmap for micro, small and medium-sized businesses (MSMEs) in Ukraine who are planning to attract financing for business start-up and development from the government, international financial institutions, partner countries, etc. It contains key information about the various partners working to rebuild Ukraine and ways to cooperate with them. I am convinced that this guide will become a source of ideas and an impetus for economically active Ukrainians to develop, scale up and enter new markets”, comments Natalia Butkova-Vitvitska, Member of the Management Board of Oschadbank responsible for MSMEs.

The section of the manual devoted to Oschad states that the bank offers an impressive list of financial instruments to support businesses even in the face of a full-scale war. Among them:

•      a program to reduce collateral requirements through EBRD guarantees;

•      program for financing investment and working capital of MSMEs with a grant component from the EBRD;

•      EU4Business grant for microbusinesses (up to EUR 5 thousand);

•      program to support MSMEs in Kryvyi Rih district;

•      state program “Affordable loans 5-7-9”;

•      technical support, etc.

Such a wide range of business support programs helped Oschad increase its loan portfolio to MSME clients by UAH 2.3 billion to UAH 24 billion since the beginning of the year. At the same time, funding was provided in the amount of UAH 10 billion. In eight months of 2024, more than 2600 enterprises employing more than 25 thousand Ukrainians received funds for business development.

Entrepreneurs can submit an online loan application, receive a preliminary decision in 24 hours, and open a sole proprietorship account remotely using the OschadBusiness service.
