Ukraine seeks to switch to direct contacts with arms manufacturers — Defense Ministry
During a meeting with representatives of the Australian company EOS Defence Systems, Deputy Defense Minister Dmytro Klymenkov said that Ukraine seeks to switch to direct contacts with arms manufacturers
"Ukraine continues to actively work on modernizing its defense capabilities and expanding international cooperation. Transition to direct contracts with arms manufacturers will reduce dependence on intermediaries and increase our defense capabilities", Klymenkov noted.During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation in the field of defense technologies and opportunities for cooperation between Ukraine and EOS Defense Systems. In addition, the Australian side expressed a desire to localize production in Ukraine.
The Ministry added that the Australian company EOS Defense Systems specializes in technologies that allow integrating weapons systems into a wide range of platforms for land and sea use. The company's products include solutions for countering unmanned aerial vehicles and ground targets.
