Zelenskyy emphasized that big victories are ahead.

"Our big victories are ahead! Victories of Ukraine. In the meantime, we hold the blow, get up to move forward, to become stronger in the future! Glory to Ukraine!" — the note reads.

How Ukraine performs at Euro 2024

The Ukraine national team has had a poor start to its performance at the European Football Championship. Serhiy Rebrov's team fell short against Romania on June 17 in Munich and lost 0:3.

On June 21, in the 2nd round of Euro 2024, the Ukrainian players rehabilitated themselves with a 2:1 victory over Slovakia.

On Wednesday, June 26, the matches of the 3rd round of Euro 2024 were played. Ukraine drew against Belgium (0:0), while Slovakia and Romania also came up short (1:1).

The final Group E standings have all teams with four points each. This was the first time in the history of the World Cup.

But due to the goal difference, Ukraine finished last and failed to qualify for the playoffs. Romania reached the 1/8 finals from the first place, Belgium — second and Slovakia — third.
