Oshchad provided charitable assistance in the amount of UAH 10 million to the Superhumans Center, a center for prosthetics, reconstructive surgery, rehabilitation and psychological support for war victims. The funds will be used to set up a central sterilization unit to prevent infections during medical care and to strengthen the center's capacity to provide prosthetics and rehabilitation services. Supporting the center is another step in the implementation of Oschadbank's inclusive program "My Barrier-Free Life".

It is not the first time that Oschad has been actively involved in partnership projects aimed at helping victims of the full-scale invasion of the aggressor. Earlier, the bank, together with MasterCard, financed the creation of two wards at the Superhumans Center, and before that, together with Visa, joined the project to create a mobile rehabilitation module in Ovruch, Zhytomyr region, implemented by the Mindy Foundation. This module is designed as a social franchise, offering solutions for the rehabilitation of Ukraine's defenders in small towns and villages.

For international missions dealing with extremely complex cases of facial injuries, this is a key component of successful surgery and reducing the risks of rejection and repeated interventions", said Olga Rudneva, Head of the Superhumans Center.

Oschadbank's assistance in the rehabilitation of Ukraine's defenders is not the only area of its veteran initiatives. The bank is implementing its own program of adaptation of demobilized colleagues – 47 employees have returned to Oschad's offices and branches from the war. As part of the large training program "Inclusively Friendly", which is part of the "My Barrier-Free" initiative, Oschadbank employees gain knowledge about the peculiarities of communicating with clients with combat experience.

Oschadbank pays great attention to the economic reintegration of veterans into society. Thus, Oschad is the exclusive banking partner of the veteran direction of the state grant program eRobota. More than 600 veterans and their families have participated in this program and have received or will soon receive UAH 280 million of non-refundable financial assistance to start or develop their own business.

A separate component is Ukraine's first special banking veteran product, Business 4.5.0. As part of it, a veteran or a family member (wife/husband, children, parents), as well as a company with more than 30% of its staff being combat veterans, can obtain a loan from Oschadbank. In particular, with this loan, a veteran can purchase a franchise that has proven its viability even without any business experience. The programme also includes a preferential package of cash management services, consultations and training.
