Austrian national team defeats Poland at Euro 2024
On Friday, June 21, in the 2nd round of the European Football Championship, the national team of Austria defeated the team of Poland
In Berlin, Austria took the lead in the 9th minute through Gernot Trauner. Poland got back into the game in the first half thanks to a goal by Krzysztof Piątek.
In the 66th minute, the Austrians took the lead again thanks to an accurate shot by Christoph Baumgartner. Marko Arnautović converted a penalty kick in the 78th minute.
Austria beat Poland 3-1 to move three points clear of Poland and into third place in Group D. The French and the Netherlands are ahead of them on extra time and will play their Round 2 match tonight at 10 p.m.
In Round 3, Austria will play the Netherlands on June 25 and Poland will play France.

How Ukraine plays at Euro 2024
The Ukraine national team has had a poor start to the European Football Championship. Serhiy Rebrov's team fell short against Romania on June 17 in Munich and lost 0-3.
On June 21, in the second round of Euro 2024, Ukraine's players won a 2:1 victory over Slovakia.
Ukraine picked up three points and moved into second place in Group E. Slovakia dropped to third with 3 points. Romania are the leaders, who also have 3 points. Belgium has not yet gained a single point and will face Romania on June 22 in the 2nd round.
In the final match of the group round of Euro-2024, Ukraine will play against Belgium. The game will take place on June 26 at 19:00.
The teams that finish first and second in their groups, as well as four of the top six teams in third position, will qualify for the 1/8 finals.
