Ukrainian IT army has carried out a large-scale DDoS attack on the russian payment system "mir". The attack, which may be the largest in history, brought vtb, sberbank, tinkoff, alfa bank, beeline, mts, rostelecom, gazprombank, megafon, sbp, nspc, eirc and other smaller services to a halt.

Ukraine's IT army said in a statement:

"Because today more banks are disabled along with their imported substitute card payment system 'mir', and consequently all card payments".

Cyber experts emphasized that such a DDoS attack is probably the largest in history.
