The Institute for the Study of War reports that the russian army has for the first time used a new FAB-3000 M-54 aerial bomb with a unified planning and correction module. The test took place on June 20 near Lyptsi in the Kharkiv region.

russian sources say the FAB-3000 M-54 will cause significant damage even if it falls within 10 meters of its intended point. Former russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, during a visit to the Nizhny Novgorod region, first announced the mass production of the FAB-3000 M-54, variants of silent bombs weighing more than 3,000 kilograms that can be converted into guided planning bombs with the addition of a UMPC modification.
