Rebrov commented on the defeat of the Ukrainian national team from Romania at Euro-2024
Head coach of the Ukraine national team Serhiy Rebrov called the defeat to Romania at Euro 2024 unexpected and urged to focus on the game with Slovakia
This is reported by Ukrainian Football Association.
Rebrov said players and coaches will have a serious talk after the 0-3 defeat to Romania.
"Obviously, there were different components of the game. We possessed the ball, but we didn't create chances. Nobody expected such a result. We have a very serious game ahead of us. We must talk among ourselves and prepare for the next meeting", Rebrov said.
He urged to focus on the match of the 2nd round, in which Ukraine will play against Slovakia on June 21.
"Romania is a good team. I said before the match that they are a football nation. They know how to play football and they showed that today. Now we must focus on the next game, against Slovakia", Rebrov concluded.
- On June 17 in Munich, Ukraine lost to Romania 0:3 in the first round of Euro 2024.
