IAEA: Mine exploded near cooling pond at Zaporizhzhia NPP
No one was injured during the incident at Zaporizhzhya NPP, there were no damages
IAEA reports that a mine exploded near a cooling pond at the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant on June 11. The explosion caused no injuries or damage.
IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said:
"This latest explosion, which occurred so close to the plant, raises serious concerns and worsens an already fragile situation".
It is also reported that russia has deployed chechen fighters to the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, who have set up a shooting range in one of the premises.
