Stoltenberg confirms Italy will transfer additional SAMP/T air defense system to Ukraine
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has said that Italy has promised to transfer another SAMP/T air defense system to Ukraine

The alliance's secretary-general said Italy promised another SAMP/T after Germany's decision on an additional Patriot battery for Ukraine.
"And I expect more to be announced in the coming days and weeks", Stoltenberg said.
- On Tuesday, June 11, Italy announced that Ukraine will receive a new military aid package, much of it air defense equipment.
