The founder of the Charitable Foundation "Let's Close the Sky of Ukraine", Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the AFU (2006-2010), Lieutenant General Igor Romanenko noted that Argentina was forced to withdraw Super Etendard aircraft from its combat force
According to espreso.tv

He said this on air on Espresso TV.

"The Super Etendard aircraft was designed to act against ships. Argentina has only five of these aircraft. Right now it cannot operate them. Because the seat in which the pilot is evacuated if necessary has a British system. The British do not supply it, and Argentina was forced to know these planes from its combat inventory", Romanenko explained.

The lieutenant general said Argentina wants to support us, but there is a question of how much we need the Super Etendard planes.

"How effective they are, given that they have been improved and modernized for the generation 4+ aircraft. Now our experts are assessing the situation considering that the British will help us with these systems, that is, they will complete the airplane. Now we are recruiting different types of aircraft, and this complicates logistics. But we should take into account the presence of potential growth also for 5 aircraft that will operate in the sea direction", Romanenko noted.
  • Argentine President Javier Miley changed his decision and decided  to take part in the Peace Summit on June 15-16 in Switzerland, to which he was invited by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
