It is stated that Germany together with partners in Ukraine will finance 7 projects. For 2024, the German government has allocated an additional 20 million euros.

"In particular, 1 million euros will go to a pilot project together with the Danish Refugee Council and the international organization Humanity & Inclusion for comprehensive assistance to victims of mine blast objects: from physical rehabilitation to psychosocial support. In the next two years, Germany will allocate 10% of its humanitarian demining aid specifically for victim assistance. Germany will allocate another 4 million euros to continue existing projects in 2025", the report said.

Sweden has increased aid by 9 million dollars to increase the ability of Ukrainian state institutions to train their own demining units. At the same time, Belgium has allocated 2 million euros for joint projects with UNDP and FAO in humanitarian demining.

"Demining is ground zero for Ukraine's reconstruction and at the same time a contribution to the security of Ukrainians and the global food security of the world", said Ukrainian Economy Minister Yulia Sviridenko.
  • On May 29, EU Ambassador to Ukraine Katarina Maternova transferred three DOK-ING MV-10 demining systems to the State Emergency Situations Service for newly created pyrotechnic units.
