The names of Ukrainian artists who will intern at the Metropolitan Opera have become known

This year, an internship program for young opera professionals was opened to share experience and learn about the principles and methods of work used at one of the largest theaters in the United States, the Metropolitan Opera.

According to the Ministry of Culture, four artists will be interning. The interns will be assigned to one of the Metropolitan Opera's Media & Presentations, Marketing and Advertising, Development: Guest Relations, Special Events and Development Services, and Production.
The internship opportunity went to Andrei Koshman — Head of NGO NOVA OPERA in the Media & Presentations department; Daria Maksimova — Pianist. Organist. Educator. Active promoter of academic art in "Marketing and Advertising"; Tatiana Gnatiuk — opera director in "Development: guest relations, special events and development services" and Lada Shylenko — opera director in "Production".
The internship will last from September to December 2024. The internship will involve four Ukrainian young professionals at the beginning of their careers in production and theater management with their American colleagues at the Metropolitan Opera.
