Ukraine wins first medal at the European Athletics Championships

On Friday evening, June 7, Lyudmyla Olyanovska brought Ukraine its first medal at the current European Championships in athletics
According to Espreso.TV.

Ukraine's Lyudmyla Olyanovska finished third in the 20km race walk event, bringing Ukraine its first medal at this year's European Athletics Championships.

In the final meters, Olyanovska overtook Spain's Laura Garcia-Caro, who was already celebrating her place on the podium with the national flag.

The Ukrainian also qualified for the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
