Your introduction to Limoges begins at the Limoges-Benedictins train station. Built in the Art Deco style, this train station is striking in its architectural grandeur and beauty. Opened in 1929, it is one of the city's main attractions and is often considered one of the most beautiful train stations in the world. Its impressive dome, huge stained-glass windows and elegant decorative trim make it the perfect place to start your Limoges journey.

The Church of Saint-Michel-des-Lions

The Church of Saint-Michel-des-Lions (Église Saint-Michel-des-Lions) cannot be overlooked. This construction, built in XIV-XVI centuries, strikes with its grandeur and architectural perfection. The interior is decorated with elegant stained glass windows and numerous religious artifacts. Of particular note is the tower, which offers a beautiful view of the city. This Gothic temple is known for its characteristic spires and occupies an important place among the architectural monuments of Limoges. It got its name because of the two stone lions located at the entrance.
