It is noted that the meeting will be held the day after celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the Allied landings in Normandy, which are scheduled for June 6.

"At a time when Russian strikes are steadily intensifying on the front lines and energy infrastructure, the two presidents will discuss the situation on the ground and Ukraine's needs", the report said.

Also, that day, Zelenskyy will be received at the National Assembly, France's parliament. There, the Ukrainian president is scheduled to deliver a speech before meeting with assembly president Yael Braun-Pivet.
