According to espreso.tv

Boris Pistorius says his country should be ready for a possible war with Russia before 2029. That's against the backdrop of Russia increasing its power and shifting to a wartime economy.

"We should be ready for war before 2029. We must act as a deterrent to prevent the worst from happening", the German defense minister said in a statement.

Pistorius also supports providing aid to Ukraine. However, he emphasized that Germany is not going to send its troops to our country.

  • German Chancellor Olaf Scholz believes that giving Ukraine permission to hit Russian territory with German weapons will not lead to escalation.
