33-year-old Ukrainian actor Dmytro Oleynyk, who played a representative of the Soviet government's repressive system in the movie "Slovo House. Infinite Romance" played a representative of the repressive system of the Soviet government, shared whether he is considering the possibility of going to the front. He answered whether he was ready to give up the acting profession for the sake of serving in the army.
"A lot of actors are fighting now. Yes, I am on the register, and actually, when my time comes, I am ready to take up arms and go to fight, to defend. Because this path has begun, and it is necessary to bring it to the end, because our children and our grandchildren will suffer further. And this war can be very long if we do not end it now", — said Oleynik.
The actor believes that Ukrainians have begun to forget about the war. He is also upset by the dominance of the Russian language in Ukrainian cities.
"In Kiev, it's as if everyone is starting to forget that we have a war. I understand that we need to work and that the economy needs to work too. But some things can be very reflexive. For example, I can reflex on things that hurt me. I reflex on the overpopulation of the Russian language on the streets", he admitted.
