Serhiy Zhadan will release a new collection of short stories in September
Ukrainian writer, lead singer of the band "Zhadan and Dogs" and public figure Serhiy Zhadan announced the release of a new prose book, the stories for which he wrote over the past months
Ukrainian poet and writer Serhiy Zhadan shared that he has completed and submitted a new manuscript for printing. It will be a collection of stories written by the author over the last few months.
"Gave the manuscript of the new book to the publishers. Stories written in recent months. Expect it in September. Thank you for reading", Zhadan wrote.
Today, the last published prose work of the writer is the novel "Internat", released in 2017. It was followed by 4 poetry collections in 2018, 2020, 2021 and 2023: "Antenna", "List of Ships: New Poems, 2018-2019", "Psalm of Aviation" and "Skrypnikovka".
In the comments, Zhadan specified that the book will see the light of day in the publishing house Meridian Czernowitz.
Serhiy Zhadan is the author of the novels "Depeche Mode," "Voroshilovgrad" (the film "Wild Fields" is an adaptation of which), "Mesopotamia," "Internat," and the poetry collections "Citatnik," "Ethiopia," "Life of Maria," "Templars," and others.
