"We appeal to you regarding the reason for the removal of armor and mobilization of rescuers, personnel of the fire department, emergency service, operational and rescue service and other civil protection workers. At the moment, the reservation from part of the fighters has been removed", reads the text of the petition, which was filed on May 31.

The author of the petition, Angelina Ben, noted that the State Emergency Service carries out an important mission on the home front, risking their lives to protect Ukrainians from fire and other emergencies.

"In order for them to protect us here, we must give them the opportunity and ensure the right to perform their duties and functions", the author added.

The petition has gained the necessary 25 thousand votes in four days. Now it must be considered by the government and given a response.
