Retired British Army Colonel and renowned military expert Glen Grant in an interview with the host of the program "Studio West" Anton Borkovsky noted that the Suwałki Corridor territory is an extremely difficult piece of land, so the enemy will have a hard time there
This opinion was expressed in the air of Espresso.
"Regarding Putin's meetings in Belarus, they don't really mean much, because Belarus still doesn't have a full-fledged army. If we talk about the quality of fighters, the maximum there are former nightclub security guards. Yes, they have a few good soldiers, but it's nothing compared to the number of soldiers that Western countries have, in particular Poland, Lithuania, not to mention the troops behind them in Sweden and Finland", commented a retired colonel of the British army.

According to him, Belarus is not a serious player in this game, and if they are really thinking about crossing the Suvali corridor, they will have a hard time because it is an extremely difficult piece of land.

"I have written and spoken about this many times. It's very simple, if Belarus decides to do this, it will automatically involve itself in a war. And then what? Especially given the geographical location of Belarus, which is surrounded by both NATO and Ukraine. To get out of the Suvalsky Corridor, the Russians would need every soldier there is. A U.S. brigade would simply come in from behind, close the port, and seize all air defenses. Therefore, Russia does not have enough troops to raise the stakes right now", Glenn Grant emphasized.
  • April 21 in the Suva Corridor, a joint Lithuanian-Polish tactical exercise with the Brave Griffin 24/II aviation element was held with the participation of the United States and Portugal.
  • On May 23, the plane of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin arrived in Belarus. On May 24, he will hold talks with self-proclaimed Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko
  • From May 27 to May 31, Belarus has held a week-long exercise of aviation and air defense with Russia
