Illegal transfer of 50 kilograms of 2-MMC from Hungary, citizen detained and remanded in custody

The Cluj County Police Inspectorate announced on Friday that a 44-year-old man is under investigation for carrying out operations with psychoactive substances. On December 21, he was caught in flagrante delicto while transferring approximately 50 kilograms of the psychoactive substance 2-MMC from one car to another.

According to the police, the man is believed to have brought the drugs into the country from Hungary by land, intending to sell them in Romania. The foreign national was detained for 24 hours and subsequently presented to the Cluj Court, which ordered his preventive arrest for 30 days.
