Military enlistment offices in Donetsk region failed to meet the challenge, — deputy of Druzhkivka city council
Mykola Dovbnya, a member of the Druzhkivka City Council, noted that mobilization is perceived very narrowly in Ukraine
He said this on the Espresso TV channel.
"Everyone perceives mobilization as a way to catch a guy somewhere on the street and send him to the military commissariat, and then to the front. No, mobilization is a completely different thing. Mobilization is the reorganization of the country on a military track. First of all, it is the mobilization of all economic resources for victory. This is the rebuilding of factories that produce shells and the rebuilding of the economy", Dovbnya said.
According to the deputy of the Druzhkivka City Council, mobilization is perceived very narrowly in Ukraine.
"Moreover, our military commissariats did not cope with the challenge. It turned out that it was impossible to update the data because of the long queues. We spent half a year passing this problematic law, and it turns out that even such small things as software have not been made to comply with the law. How then can we defeat the enemy in the trenches if we cannot do the things we should have done back in 2022", Dovbnya emphasized.
- As of May 28, more than 1250 thousand people liable for military service updated their data, almost 1170 thousand of them — through the "Reserve+" application.
- The Ministry of Defense said that in the "Oberig" register, without legal grounds, had the status of "wanted" 710 thousand Ukrainians. The mistake was corrected thanks to the Reserve+ application.
