French President Emmanuel Macron said that on June 6, Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy would pay a visit to his country on the occasion of the D-Day landings in Normandy and announced his meeting with the Ukrainian leader.

Macron announced Zelenskyy's participation in events marking the 80th anniversary of the Allied landings in Normandy at a joint press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz during his trip to Germany.
"I will have the opportunity, when President Zelenskyy travels to France next week to attend events on the occasion of the D-Day landings in Normandy, to receive him and then talk very specifically to announce what we are going to do (to support Ukraine – ed.)", the French president told reporters.
