Germany hands over equipment for power engineers to Ukraine
Germany donated three large-sized power transformers with a capacity of 40 thousand kVA each to power distribution network units and 16 units of special equipment to Ukraine

With the help of the provided equipment, Ukraine will be able to restore the damaged equipment more quickly. In particular, 4 Mercedec-Benz Arocs trucks with a crane have arrived. They joined the vehicle fleet of JSC Kharkivoblenergo. Two more vehicles were delivered to the power engineers of JSC Mykolaivoblenergo and one to the specialists of JSC Ternopiloblenergo.
Another 9 vehicles will be delivered to the power engineers of Cherkasy, Khmelnytskyi, and Zaporizhzhia regions in the near future, and additional units of special equipment will be delivered to Kharkiv and Mykolaiv regions.
"The received cars are necessary for the prompt implementation of emergency and major repairs in the power grids of regional power companies", the Ministry of Energy explained.
They noted that other equipment, in particular transformers, is currently at the stage of delivery to Ukraine.
- On May 9, it became known that Germany will provide Ukraine with a grant for 45 million euros to restore the energy sector. The money will be used to purchase equipment for energy-efficient modernization, automation and reconstruction of Ukrenergo substations.
