Agrarians from Zaporizhzhia region continue to work in the territories of the region under the control of Ukraine
This was reported by Espresso.
This was told by the head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
"Today, there is no massive issue of demining, because today the territory where agricultural work is being carried out has not been mined, there are isolated cases of demining, mostly it is the demining of those shells, that hit the territory of Zaporizhzhia region, and our rescuers and military are working very actively here, but in general we see that about 95% of the territories controlled by the government of Ukraine are being cultivated by our farmers today", Fedorov said.

He noted that the issue of land where fortifications have been built is being discussed separately with farmers.

The issue of further logistics of the harvested products also remains difficult.

"Despite the fact that Zaporizhzhia region is in an extremely difficult logistical situation today, because the nearest ports, where the products are sold, are more than 600-700 kilometers away, and this significantly affects the cost of agricultural products that our farmers grow with such danger and such difficulty", the head of Zaporizhzhia region said.
  • On May 22, Nina Yuzhanina, MP, member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation and Customs Policy, commented on the government's initiative to bring Ukrainian legislation closer to the European one in terms of excise tax.
