The International "Renaissance" Foundation has decided to provide an urgent grant from its reserve funds to the Vivat printing house in Kharkiv, which was shelled by Russia. This was announced by Sashko Kulchytskyi, Director of the Foundation's Communications Department.

The International "Renaissance" Foundation is one of the largest Ukrainian charitable foundations, a non-governmental organization. The "Foundation" was founded in April 1990 and is a member of the network of open society foundations created by George Soros, which operate in 130 countries. The Foundation has autonomy in determining priorities and strategy.

russia has launched a missile attack on Kharkiv, hitting one of the largest printing houses in Europe, Factor-Druc, where books of almost all Ukrainian publishers are printed. There are dead and wounded. Factor-Druc is part of the Factor group of companies. Vivat Publishing House and Vivat bookstores are also part of the holding. The Family Leisure Club publishing house has also confirmed that it prints many of its books at Factor-Druc.

The British Ambassador to Ukraine Martin Harris reacted to the Russian attack on the printing house. He said that Ukrainians buy its books to support the publishing house. Martin Harris also joined the impromptu action.

A series of explosions took place in Kharkiv and the region. As a result, people were killed and injured. As of 12:50 a.m., there are 6 dead and 16 wounded. The enemy struck at least 15 times at the city, preliminarily with S-300 missiles. As of 19:13, emergency workers extinguished the fire that started as a result of the attack.
