House Speaker Mike Johnson believes Ukraine should be allowed to use American weapons against military targets in Russia
This is what Espresso writes.
He told a Voice of America correspondent.

The journalist asked a question: "Your colleagues on the Intelligence Committee have issued an appeal to the administration calling for Ukraine to be allowed to use US weapons against military targets in Russia. What is your position on this? Because the Ukrainians have weapons, but also restrictions on their use?"

To which Johnson replied: "I think we should let Ukraine fight the war the way they see fit. They should be able to fight back. And I think that trying to control the effort on a micro level is not a good policy for us".
  • On May 22, it was reported that US Department of Defense spokesman Patrick Ryder said that the Pentagon's attitude towards strikes with US weapons on the territory of the Russian Federation has not changed.
