UEFA has chosen the host of the Champions League Final — 2026
The Champions League final in 2026 will be held in Budapest, and Istanbul was given two decisive matches at once: Europa League 2026 and Conference League 2027
At a meeting of the UEFA (Union of European Football Associations) Executive Committee in Dublin, the hosts of the European Cup finals of the next few seasons were chosen.
In the Champions League, the 2025/26 final was given to Budapest, and the decision on the 2026/27 Champions League decider was postponed until September, when the Italian Football Federation will respond to the reconstruction of the San Siro Stadium in Milan, where the game is to take place.
In the Europa League, the final will be held in Istanbul in 2026 and Frankfurt in 2027. Istanbul will host the decisive European Cup matches for two years in a row — in 2027 it will also host the Conference League final. In 2026, the trophy of the third European Cup tournament will be played in Leipzig.
- On May 22, Italian Atalanta and German Bayer Leverkusen will play in the Europa League final in Dublin.
