During the auctions on Prozorro contracts for the purchase of drones worth more than UAH 500 mln were concluded

This is reported by the Ministry of Defense. It is stated that 4200 DJI Mavic 3E drones with additional equipment were contracted. According to the results of auctions on Prozorro, the average price per drone amounted to: DJI Mavic 3E with three additional batteries and charger — 126.3 thousand UAH, DJI Mavic 3T with three additional batteries and charger — 194.2 thousand UAH.

Consequently, taking into account the previous contracts, the Ministry of Defense has contracted 8200 drone sets (7200 DJI Mavic 3E and 1000 DJI Mavic 3T). The total amount of the concluded contracts is UAH 1.1 billion.

"Only on these purchases we managed to save more than UAH 65 million from the expected cost. And this is provided that we work on the principle of cash on delivery to maximize the security of deliveries. For us, this is an opportunity to purchase more drones for the military, which are critically important at the front", said Marina Bezrukova, director of the Defense Procurement Agency.

On 5 March, it became known that the Defense Procurement Agency of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry will for the first time purchase 20,000 unmanned aerial systems for almost 3 billion hryvnyas through the Prozorro system.
