Ukrainian women submitted more than 500 applications to participate in The Bachelor with veteran Oleksandr Teren

The producers of The Bachelor said that the applicants for the 13th season of the reality show crashed the site.

"Your forms are coming down every two minutes. You crashed our site for 13 minutes. In the first day of The Bachelor alone, we received more than 500 questionnaires, and they keep coming", the post said.

In the comments, viewers expressed fears that some of the girls might come to the show for PR, not love.

On May 13, STB announced that the commander of the Carpathian Sechi rifle battalion, Oleksandr Budko, call sign Teren, who lost both legs in the war, would be the new hero of the Bachelor show.

Alexander Budko left as a volunteer to defend the country on February 24, 22. Six months later, he became a platoon commander of the 49th separate Carpathian Sechi rifle battalion. During the fighting, he lost both of his limbs. After prosthetics, he leads an active lifestyle, is a prize-winner of the international competition "Games of the Unconquered", and is a co-author and host of the YouTube project "Otval nog, or All Inclusive".

In the summer of 2023, Ukrainian defender Oleksandr Budko, call sign Teren, who lost both legs in the war with the Russian invaders, danced in the United States in the ballet Giselle with the Ukrainian company The United Ukrainian Ballet.

In October, Oleksandr presented his autobiographical novel, "The Story of a Stubborn Man".

In April of this year, Oleksandr Teren (Budko) admitted that he received an offer to dance with Ukrainian artists Oleksandr Stoyanov and Kateryna Kukhar, but refused because of the Russian ballet in their repertoire.
