It is noted that the suspect was a 40-year-old foreigner. He did not have any identity documents on him. During the crime, the man also inflicted bodily harm on himself. He is currently in the hospital and under police guard.
According to preliminary data, at about 16:00 (local time), the man left the railway station in Zofingen. On the way, he began attacking people with a knife.
One seriously injured man had to be taken to hospital by helicopter. According to media reports, there is a pregnant woman among the victims. Two other teachers of the cantonal school were also injured in the attack.
