The US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said this at a press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
"We must help Ukraine protect soldiers and civilians. For us, a special priority is to end the war. That's why we are looking for where to find these Patriot systems, which are needed today. Another issue we discussed was a bilateral security agreement between the US and Ukraine. We know that 32 countries have already discussed or will discuss concluding such agreements with Ukraine in the near future", Blinken emphasized.
According to the US Secretary of State, the future bilateral security agreement between the US and Ukraine will ensure the security of the future in the next 10 years.
"We have worked productively with our teams and are finalizing the agreement itself. The text of the agreement will be available soon, and we will sign the agreement in a few weeks. This demonstrates to the world and to Putin that many countries will continue to help Ukraine and will do so in the long term to deter Russia", Blinken said.
