This was announced by French Defense Minister Sebastian Lecornu at a parliamentary hearing, Reuters reports.

It is noted that Paris will supply Ukraine with a new batch of Aster 30 surface-to-air missiles for SAMP/T air defense systems, which were provided earlier.

Lecornu also emphasized that he had already signed the second batch of Aster missiles and added that this would allow the SAMP/T system, which France handed over together with Italy, "to continue working if we are talking about intercepting Russian missiles that could attack Kyiv".

• On March 31, Lecornu said that as part of a new package of assistance to Ukraine, France would provide hundreds of armored vehicles and Aster missiles.
