It is indicated that these wells were drilled in the same field and on the same formation almost simultaneously, so they are called "twins". They have a depth of 6,200 meters and 6,225 meters, and allow a total production of 390 thousand cubic meters of gas per day: 270 thousand cubic meters and 120 thousand cubic meters.

"Previously, drilling such wells took two to three years. These wells were ready in 8 months. Only by systematically improving technological processes, we give better results and strengthen Ukraine's energy sustainability", said Oleksiy Chernyshov, Chairman of Naftogaz.

• Earlier, Ukrgasvydobuvannya JSC launched a new well, which became the fourth since the beginning of the year. It provides Ukraine with about 400 thousand cubic meters of gas per day.
