The Ukrainian film "I, Victory and Berlin" by Olga Ryashina, based on the novel of the same name by Kuzma Scriabin, was released in three cities of Israel.

It was reported by espreso.tv

The adventure comedy "I, Victory and Berlin" by Ukrainian director Olga Ryashina started its theatrical release in Israel on May 9. The film, based on the novel of the same name by Kuzma Scriabin, will be screened in Rishon LeZion, Beersheba and Ashdod.

The film immerses the viewer in the atmosphere of the 90's — the era of Kuzma's youth: music, checkered shouting style and romantic hopes of youth. A special highlight of the film is the iconic music of Scriabin.

The film was produced by UPHub with the support of the Ukrainian State Film Agency and Golden Tile. The film, dedicated to Andriy Kuzmenko (Kuzma), the leader of the cult band Scriabin, which became a symbol of a new generation of Ukrainians in the early Ukrainian electronic scene, is not a biographical documentary but an artistic interpretation of his autobiographical literary debut of the same name.
